This year, Holman Barnes Group was the platinum sponsor for the 2023 Bay Run
The Bay Run is a 7km (adult) and 2km (kids) fun run around the popular Iron Cove Bay, one of the most popular harbourside tracks in Sydney.
More than 1500 participants took part, many using the race as a warmup to the City to Surf, which is held this coming weekend. Bay Run is organised by a team of volunteers and all proceeds go to support the Dobroyd Point Public School and other local primary schools.
“We were very excited to sponsor the Bay Run this year,” said Simon Cook, CEO of Holman Barnes Group. “It’s a great community event with a family-friendly atmosphere that raises money for a good cause. As a club we like to get behind any initiative that promotes physical and mental health alongside community participation.”
$6,000 was donated by HBG to the event. For the day there was a HBG booth at the event with Spin the Wheel prizes, a Magpie Mascot for kids to take pictures with, an open-air photo booth and more!
The Bay Run is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages to get active and support a good cause. The event was held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Iron Cove Bay in Sydney.
