FAQs
1.Who is eligible to be an Independent Reference?
Acceptable referees include teachers, school counsellors, principal, vice principal, coaches, employers, community leaders. Preferably, no immediate family members (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins).
The reference should cover leadership qualities, character traits, work ethic, community service, extracurricular involvement, academic performance and an overall general recommendation from the author.
2. What should I put for Part C (Name for Institution, course name, code, cost of course and more)
Name of preferred institution and indicative course/course number will suffice. We acknowledge this may change by the end of the process, but if we could get an indication of preferences that would be great. The applicants 1st or 2nd UAC Preference will suffice.
