MAGPIE SPORTS AWARDS 2026

The Magpie Sports Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements by sportspeople and sporting organisations within the local community.

Nominations are now open for sportspersons, teams or volunteers who live in the Inner West or are affiliated with an Inner West-based sporting organisation, and who have demonstrated outstanding sporting performance, achieved selection in a representative team, or received notable recognition between 1 March 2025 and 30 April 2026.

A gala evening will be held at Wests Ashfield on Wednesday 15 July. Attendance is by invitation only.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Nominee(s) or Team(s) must reside in the inner west or be affiliated with a sporting organisation located within a 10km radius of the inner west. The nominee(s) must have achieved excellence, representative selection or notable recognition between 1 March 2025 and 30 April 2026. Nominations must include a high-resolution club logo and a minimum of two photos of the nominee. Additional media or short video footage (30–60 seconds) may also be requested.
