Holman Barnes Group unveils a new home for Mariners supporters, with a local brewery partnership and community events planned
14 October 2026: Holman Barnes Group is set to unveil the Mariners Club, transforming the former Gosford Bowling Club into a new home for Central Coast Mariners supporters, with all proceeds from the venue going directly towards supporting the Central Coast Mariners Women team.
Located alongside polytec Stadium, the Mariners Club will bring together football, food, drinks and entertainment, creating a new community gathering place while providing an ongoing source of funding for the women’s team.
The new venue will open this Saturday the 17th October for the Central Coast Mariners v Newcastle Jets match before the official launch on Saturday, 24 October, coinciding with the Central Coast Mariners Women’s first home game of the 2026/27 season against Canberra United.
Holman Barnes Group CEO Daniel Paton said the opening represented another important milestone in the group’s commitment to securing a sustainable future for women’s football on the Central Coast.
“When we stepped in to support the Central Coast Mariners Women, we knew this had to be about more than simply keeping a team on the field.
“We wanted to create something that would provide ongoing support for the team, while giving the Central Coast community a genuine opportunity to get behind women’s football, the Mariners Club is a big part of that commitment. Every dollar made by the club will go straight back into supporting the women’s team, so whether you’re stopping in for a drink, enjoying a meal with friends or coming along to one of our events, you’re helping support the future of women’s football on the Central Coast.”
Adding to the club’s local focus, Holman Barnes Group has partnered with Hawkesbury Brewing Company as the official drinks provider for Mariners Club, bringing its range of locally brewed beers and beverages to the venue.
The partnership brings together two organisations committed to supporting the local community, with Hawkesbury Brewing Company playing an important role in creating a welcoming destination for Mariners supporters and Central Coast locals. With all proceeds from the club going back into the women’s team, every drink purchased will also contribute to supporting the future of women’s football in the region.
Once the Mariners Club is activated for the initial season openers, the focus will turn to establishing the venue as a central hub for the community and sports.

The official launch of the Mariners Club on Saturday, 24 October will see the Club open from lunchtime, with live music and entertainment throughout the afternoon ahead of the Mariners Women’s first home game at polytec Stadium, followed by post-match fun with a band to continue the live entertainment.
“The 24th of October is going to be a very special day for everyone involved,” Daniel said.
“After months of work to secure the future of the women’s team, seeing them take to the field for their first home game, with the Mariners Club open and the community behind them, will be a fantastic moment.
“We want the Mariners Club to become a genuine home for supporters, somewhere locals can come together throughout the year, and know that every visit is helping make a difference to the women’s team.
“This is about building something that will last, both for the club and for women’s football on the Central Coast.”
